Dose anyone know anything about this car? I have tried phoning Peugeot and they have no history for it. I though I would ask here first just in case anyone new anything about it before I have to write to the dvla asking for all the privies owners. I think I have the service history is in the loft some where just cant look as I am away. |

Yes, I think Roland can confirm this but was this not a part of, if not the cause of the dreaded 'Milk Float disaster'?! The positive of this is that you haven't bought one car but rather two better halves of two cars. ________________________________________ noaki wrote: im sorry i wasn't aware 306gti6.com was a cult ** Team: EX-GTI-6 ** Team: EX-Phase 3 ** Team: EX-Black! i forget the exact circumstances but the milk float gti6 was also a blaze gti6 ending in "RST" on the reg, an R plate one, guessing it is this as it rings a bell. it was written off in 2005/2006 i think. 'roland rat' was driving it over a humpback bridge when a milk float had stopped on the other side (not visible to him when driving)he hit it fairly hard, folding the front of the gti6 in but as far as i know it was repaired pretty well. i do remember him saying they actually left part of the metal fragements of the milkfloat trapped in the front of the gti6 because they were too hard to remove but i personally didn't see photos of it so not sure. i nearly bought it, didn't look too bad. bit of rust under the rear which made me think it'd had a shunt at the back at some point but i was only buying it for the engine and scrapping the rest there's also another blaze gti6 funnily enough knocking around which people refer to as the 'milk float gti6' but this one simply had a side impact and the lad who owned it worked on a dairy farm. he repaired it using a metal plate welding it into the side section (off the flat bed from the back of a milk float). not an ideal fix but hey it worked by the looks of it ________________________________________ 306 rallye reproduction decals (full sets/individual decals) | 306 b-pillar textured vinyl weatherstrips306 slam panel esso stickers | 306 yellow / orange / pension fund red side door badges gti6 inlet manifold badges | 306 rear boot badges (p2/p3) winner of Extraction of toys from prams with outstanding vigour award 2009 [source: gti6 owners club] |

If you look carefully (some paint may need removing), I think the roof is Diablo. Again RR can confirm this. I'm just amazed that this is back on the road. ________________________________________ noaki wrote: im sorry i wasn't aware 306gti6.com was a cult ** Team: EX-GTI-6 ** Team: EX-Phase 3 ** Team: EX-Black! the roof should be ok, i think it was creased by the impact but the roof was repaired fine unless it was diablo for a short while whilst he had it fixed. looked ok to me when i saw it________________________________________ 306 rallye reproduction decals (full sets/individual decals) | 306 b-pillar textured vinyl weatherstrips306 slam panel esso stickers | 306 yellow / orange / pension fund red side door badges gti6 inlet manifold badges | 306 rear boot badges (p2/p3) winner of Extraction of toys from prams with outstanding vigour award 2009 [source: gti6 owners club] |

it was removed from the V-car write-off database when it was fixed probably roland rat didn't declare it because he sold it on almost immediately as spares/repairs due to the structural damage infact there is your answer, thats why it doesn't show. my mistake ________________________________________ 306 rallye reproduction decals (full sets/individual decals) | 306 b-pillar textured vinyl weatherstrips306 slam panel esso stickers | 306 yellow / orange / pension fund red side door badges gti6 inlet manifold badges | 306 rear boot badges (p2/p3) winner of Extraction of toys from prams with outstanding vigour award 2009 [source: gti6 owners club] |

smackie wrote: There if defiantly no front end damage I have look at this car over and over when i bought it. I'd do some more digging if I was you. I'd agree that this should have no front end damage as it is basically a new front end, some could call it a 'cut and shut'. Maybe this is why it was never declared a write off. Or maybe this is how they got around having to declare it Again RR can confirm all . . . ________________________________________ noaki wrote: im sorry i wasn't aware 306gti6.com was a cult ** Team: EX-GTI-6 ** Team: EX-Phase 3 ** Team: EX-Black! If this car was fixed I would love to know what body shop because all the spot welds on both sides match perfect and all the sealant round the struts wings etc are factory finished. There has been no sign of body damage to it. |

it's fairly standard to reseal the wings and panels when refitting, i did my own in the bodyshop and did this anyway. to look at mine you'd never know i'd had it apart but i had it completely down to a bare shell to treat rust on the wings________________________________________ 306 rallye reproduction decals (full sets/individual decals) | 306 b-pillar textured vinyl weatherstrips306 slam panel esso stickers | 306 yellow / orange / pension fund red side door badges gti6 inlet manifold badges | 306 rear boot badges (p2/p3) winner of Extraction of toys from prams with outstanding vigour award 2009 [source: gti6 owners club] |
