Afternoon guys. I've recently replaced the standard shocks & 60mm springs that were on the car when I bought it with some B8s & eibachs. When fitting them, a fair bit of skewing of the hub/strut was required to get them to line up.
The drop links were also replaced as I had to cut the old ones off, other than that the wishbones/TRE's are still the same.
Now there seems to be a noticable amount of neg. camber, and a little bit of toe in on both sides.
The struts/top mounts aren't meant to have covered that many miles, they're off CUJ's old rallye.
Any help would be much appreciated Smile

Sounds like you have the wrong ball joints fitted to the wishbones (although, that would cause positive camber).

Can you post a photo?

I know the driveway isn't level, however there is a noticable difference from before - they were much straighter on the standard shocks/60mm springs.

And yes I know the bumper is in a state, on the ever growing to do list Roll eyes

Yeah, that's definitely not right.

I've only seen that sort of camber once before (on smighall's blaze 6), and that was caused by bent dampers.

Did you check them over before fitting?

I wouldn't drive it like that as you'll kill the tyres in no time.

Oh joy, well they looked to be straight at first glance, can't say I checked in detail. Just presumed they'd be ok having bought them from a reputable forum member. Guess I'll have to take them off and double check. Unsure Looking increasingly like I'll be attending FCS in the zx Roll eyes

Cheap way to get negative camber, why did'nt I think of that?
