I've tried looking but can't find an answer. What size U clamps will I need to fit a Mangnex cat back exhaust?

I bought 2x 2" 3/8 as that's what I thought I needed but they're too small for the pipe that joins the centre and back.

I'd guess 2 ½ "

You'd be right too.

Fitted it tonight but no right happy with the fit so gonna tweak it tomorrow.

I'm getting a bit of hissing under load so it's leaking somewhere too (I'm guessing from the cat / centre join).

Oh well, practice makes perfect.

I hate sleeve joints. They are a right bugger to stop from leaking.

Bit of paste spread around cat to centre and the centre to backbox joints before sliding together will sort it.

If it is the cat to manifold joint, you will want a new ring. About £18 for the fitting kit which comes with new bolts and springs too.

I used a "Mikalor W2 Supra Clamps 63 to 68mm - Stainless Steel" for the centre to rear box joint on my magnex, and a 51-55mm version for the cat to centre section joint. They are wide and allow a good constant torque around the clamp. I bought mine on ebay.
