I wanted to modify the sedan rear bumper to look more sporty so I'm gonna graft the lower lip from a sports bumper on. This is in the "development stage" ( see if it will work and not become a pile of fail)      ________________________________________ |

Somehow I always liked that 2 door sedan. The front end isn't really to my taste but if it looked otherwise standard I think it'd be a cracking looking car! Good luck with it, looking forward to seeing it complete. |

How easy was the b pillare and back wing to weld on? does it have to go in for any test with DVLA because of the change in doors?Ive always wanted to do this. |

I spent all day on it today. Engine and 'box went in last weekend. Today I fitted the sub frame, steering rack driveshafts, power steering pipes, wiring, loom, plumbing, gear linkage and exhaust heat shields. That's enough for today!    ________________________________________ |

Ditto, Lee at repairgeot did a Gti6 conversion to a black sedan. It'd had been resprayed so it looked mint but the 4 doors didn't look quite right so I'll be really interested to see how this comes out  |

Yes mate. Gotta have working air con. All the suspension, brakes, exhaust, a/c was replaced with genuine pug parts on the other car. I didn't see the point in selling the blaze only to have to buy all new parts for the sedan. Let's face it a p reg blaze has a ceiling price of about 1200 quid! ________________________________________ |

I've sent off the v5 with the alterations noted. It's been about 4 weeks now; getting worried that they're having a baby over it. Hoping it will only need an engineers report from an mot station. If I'm unlucky it may require an sva test and be re registered I dismantled all of the rear quarters from the 6 entirely ( separated the three layers) and then rebuilt them into the 4 door shell. The inner sill and floorpan are the same in both cars so everything lines up. The three door has the indentation on the inner sill for the 4/5 door pillar! ________________________________________ |
