Hi everyone just a quick question. I've been looking at exhausts and centre sections for my recently purchased gti6 and I just wanted to no if there was any major differences between getting one made of mild steel or the stainless? What do people recommend? I've been looking at the piper products and they have both with obviously the price of the mild steel being cheaper. Any advice much appreciated thanks |

Stainless systems crack more often. Get it gusseted from new and save a load of work down the line ________________________________________ R H Davey Welding Supplies. Stainless for a road car offers a degree of longevity, providing they use a good grade of stainless. It depends what you want really. Stainless has a tendency to resonate and amplify the exhaust note. There is a reason Miles sells performance mild steel systems. ________________________________________ I'm Si btwNight Blue VW Golf GTD Bianca LBSC Rallye - Track/Road Slag Project Thread Sparkling Silver Mini Cooper D - Super Dooper - (The other half's wheels) |
