Just an idea, if the Forum is back in read / write, you might want to remove the note on the homepage that says it's currently read-only, unless you don't want too many people to post as it will make syncing the new and old DB a bit of a pain!

You're probably right but for wha it's worth all existing user accounts will be migrated as non-member accounts. That will still allow them to read and post in the non technical forums. And the trade up to a basic paid subscription to get back to a similar level to current will be nominal.

Hopefully that won't put too many people off.

Just think, how many people have gone off, got girlfriends, completed call of duty or whatever during our downtime!? We've done a public service!
