This happened to me when i tried to fit my arb.
Tried wd40 tried a big f**k off hammer on the bolt
Wasnt happening so i thought id just leave it until i get a new beam.

This is a spare beam I have that's been sat in one of the storage garages for a year or two. Don't know if the ARB has ever been out but quite possibly not!

I don't think I've ever had an issue removing one, the left hand end p[late is always a little tougher as its pulled fully onto the splines whereas the r/h is not.

Any penetrating stuff tbh is useless due to the tight fit and access to the splines, heat will suffice if necessary though Big grin Ninja


i too use head bolts for this very purpose, wind it in by hand then, if you have access to

one, use an impact gun to to screw the bolt in untill plate comes off

Got it off. Put some WD40 in it last night and it looks like it had penetrated to allow us to smash the ARB out using a big centre punch and a club hammer.
