that is well cheap, id of thought that wasnt full kit as most places are 575ish, i know thats roughly what ecosse charged me, so unless they have a 1 in stock they need to shift id say was very cheap.

you could go with Stans setup, 4paddle an sachs cover he says he has no problems with it, or go for full kit an judder like a fanny when trying to pull away haha

I have read that 6 paddles are better for road use than 4 paddes, on here and a few other car forums

my Helix paddle clutch came from Eccose, I did ask for a 6 paddle helix but they sent up a 4 paddle
Helix would not speak to me as i wasnt a garage etc to let me ask them directly.

Anyone else think i am being too picky and asking specifically for a 6 paddle one, i am hoping that it will be easier for road use

don't f**k about with the standard pressure plate, just uprate it all.
I know mine doesn't grip as well as it would of If I'd got the full kit.

It will still be on off unless you rev it higher, which will wear it out faster IMO as the paddle wasn't built for slipping to set off.

Mine is more "on/off" when setting off a few times from a cold start. Once the car is up to running temperature then the clutch seems to be better. Yes

Mine was on and off but it's stopped vibrating as
Much now, which tells me
It's slipping easier on set off.

Well to update on this

I went for saches cover with 6 paddle helix clutch plate
clutch feels fine, not much different than my old standard clutch to be fair

pretty happy with it all, all good apart from the price of the 6 paddle plate which was more than the 4 paddle one i had originally been given

bought mine from Ecosse.
Saches cover was in a Luk clutch kit which i bought from a local motor factor

Interesting, I went for the 4 paddle one didn't even realise there was a 6 paddle option when I got mine. It works fine though.

I wonder if there is a huge difference in 'feel' between the two options?

RichW didnt know either, a user on here mentioned the 6 paddle was better for road use and i wanted it LOL

Helix confirmed this also, managed to speak to them after i got sent a 4 paddle one
They said there is marginal difference between them
first time i phoned them they wouldnt really give me time of day

couldnt tell you but... comparing it to my old abused standard clutch it isnt much worse
