Ah, I see - to they're just threaded on the rack end? I guess I'll just have to replace the whole setup as there's play on both sides.

Think the phase 2 is a bit quicker than the 6 rack, but not as quick as the phase 1, info off here and net

How can you go right if you get duff info when you ask a q! I still <3 you rat, don't worry. Happy

Didn't change the fact that car was destined for the scrappy lol, I snaffled it's lump, box and beam. Razz The rack was just a bonus! The VTS P2 rack is supposed to be 2.6 so it's hardly an appreciable difference to find 0.1 of a turn each way!

Thought phase one VTS's were 2.1 turns not 2.4Dunno

My old one was barely over two turns so 2.1 sounds about right to my mindSmile

I "think" they are 2.4 turns but with the limited ram on the Gti-6 they become about 2.1 turns lock to lock, I.e more or less one full turn to full lock either way, which is great as you can get full lock on by simply crossing your arms, no need to shuffle the steering wheels and can keep your grip on the steering wheel at ten to two Smile
