I have a little rattle coming from my catalyst. It's not a standard pug one as it looks far too small and when I took it for MOT last month it passed the emission test but just barely. Sad

What I'm wondering is, Where is the best place to buy a new cat from?

I gave the Peugeot dealer a call but their parts dept is closed. Had a check on buypartsby - £70 for a ceramic cat and eurocarparts - £230 for a metallic cat.

Can anyone tell me the difference between ceramic and metallic and also if there is anywhere better to buy from?

A standard one from the dealers will set you back around £580 so I would say Ash is doing you a favour at that Yes

a second hand standard one is better than a new non genuine one, id take ash's off him....or just sack the cat off altogether.
