A friend of mine has just bought some Kumho V70A tyres and had them cut to a wet pattern. He got the super soft compound. K12. I've not driven with them, but looking at the cut pattern and feeling how soft they are, I'm going to give some a try.

That' maybe the same as I've just bought for Prescott / Hill climb Thumbs up ...not cheap though over £155 per tyre
Are they v700 that I've bought & are road legal or the rally ones CO3s not road legal though both available in K12 & both Ecsta

I run C03's on my rally car. I find them to be fantastic. But at the cost of the c03's I wouldn't cut those!

My friend who got the v70a tyres, uses them on his mk1 escort rally car. I think he uses them for the dry, then the cut ones now for the wet.

I have a set of 6 Michelin wets for the rally car. Absolutely amazing grip!

I uses 595 RSRs in the wet as they're not great. Would like to get a decent set of wets but am restricted as I have to run something from the MSA lists!

slight hijack but .. i have a set of yoko a539's - no idea what they're for but seem like a medium range trackday tyre, given they were on my purely-trackbased 205 when i bought it - currently on my 205 gti speedlines. worth keeping / worth selling / just use as road tyres on a weekend fun car?

The Kumho's sound interesting, might get them as my next set of wets. Fair bit more expensive than the Federals though!
