I wouldn't mix them, due to the tread pattern of the R1R they will heat up much quicker and go off much earlier. The R888 having no tread as such will behave very differently. ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

Once you run a set of semi slicks you'll realise why can't run mix and match with road Tyres. Even when r888s are cold they run rings round t1r's ________________________________________ www.bridgecraftmotorsport.co.uk |

This could work out OK. It is hard to get heat into the rears and different tyre compounds can help balance the grip front to rear.I would be tempted to give it a try.(with the r888 on the front) ________________________________________ L reg "black and blue" phase 1 track 6 |

I thought they were more road biased/harder so you'd want them on the front and the softer 888s on the rear?? Not sure why you'd want to do this to be honest, a full set of 888s are tried and tested and work well. Why would you want to start mixing and matching with other Tyres? ________________________________________ www.bridgecraftmotorsport.co.uk |

888's on the front, Nangkang Ditchfinders on the back = awesome time on a trackday.Front wheel drive cars have no need for rear grip, arse end on mine's generally just along for the ride You know you want to. ________________________________________ Membership expiring soon, get in contact on our new little forum project. |
