Hi all,

This thread is to introduce you all to the new Predator 306 GTi-6 Plug and Play ECU!

Coltech Ltd is our recently formed company and consists of Andy (me) and Pete based in Southampton. You may remember me on the Saxo forums trading as Datashift, but onwards and upwards to new things!

We have also just joined the 306 ownership community with a Diablo red 306gti!

The newly developed Predator ECU is a fully mappable direct replacement without the need for any expensive wiring modifications or extra wiring looms

Below you will see a chart of some of the rich features of the ECU, and also the pricing.

We would like to gauge interest in a potential group buy of our ECU. Please feel free to ask any questions, and put your name down!

If you don't want to take part in the Live Road Mapping service, your ECU will be supplied with a basemap. This should be ok to get about in until you can get the map dialled in and is ideal for customers further away! The basemap will come free with the ECU!

I've done about 1,000 miles on the prototype ECU so far, and it's just so easy and lovely to drive. Loads of throttle response, grunt and it's not missed a beat at all!

It should be running a Supercharged 306 soon... so watch this space!

Hehe, yeh sorry it's taken SOOOO long! But it had to be right, and now I think it's a really nice product. Now I want to get it out there and show you all!

Alternator was 100% spot on, thank you VERY much for meeting me at 5 minutes notice, on a Sunday evening!! What a great community!

How much would it cost and what gains would i expect ? it is after all a work pony wagon estate - would i get better MPG or just more performance Unsure

WOW! 695GBP for standalone PnP ECU Cool

my Vems PnP from DpEngineering cost me around 1050�, so about 890GBP

and the features are exactly the same, so this is an awsome price!!!!

it's a plug-in replacement ECU for your car that you can delve into and custom map to your hearts content using a laptop, USB cable and software. Change all warmup, idle, fuelling, correction, ignition parameters to your own taste.

You can fit throttle bodies and use this ECU, cams, exhausts, turbo's/superchargers andoptimise the fueling to get the most out of you modifications.

You can fit a wideband lambda sensor, and target a lean-cruise fuel setting to get more MPG out of your car.

You can have different maps for 95 or V-Power octane fuel which you flick between on the dashboard.

Mostly you can take control of your engine in a way you can only do with standalone aftermarket replacements.

Most people notice improved throttle response and lower 'grunt', finding themselves in 3rd when they'd previously be in 2nd.

I'm likely to have a donkey ECU available down here if you've got a standard-ish car I can plug it in and give you a demo on your own vehicle! Sort of try-before-you-buy!

As long as nobody brings down their unmapped turbo-monster which would take 4 hours to map up!! Smile

It does sound good. I tend to go from 1st, to 3rd anyway most of the time, saves fuel Happy

hehe! we can't create a 205gtidriver account at present Sad

S16 I think I would need to generate sufficient interest first and get a group buy together to develop it. It would be quick to make but it would have to be worth it with sufficient orders to go forward

Well we had a good few hours on the car yesterday (high boost), and got the car started straight away and got up to around 30 mph with a few tweaks to the map, it's going to take some time but I definitely think this will be great.

Took a standard car out with this ecu fitted and the drive was so smooth etc.

Just got to sit back and let the boys work there magic and sort a few niggles.

Hi all!

Thanks to Carl for letting us pop up and have a go on the supercharger, awesome machine Smile

Our dodgy donkey 306 has now done well over 1000 miles on the ECU now!

Does anyone near to Southampton have a low-boost supercharger conversion that we could spend a little more time on down here doing some testing and mapping??

If so please get in touch!
