browsing through the mass amount of service history i have got with the new car....

the plugs were last changed in 2007 @ 74k.

im in the process of gathering all the bits i need to give it a mass overhaul, so i just need to know...

how often do you change yours/should they be changed?

oem or.....?

off the shelf NGK's will do the trick, about a tenner a set and are twin electrode as per o.e spec.

as for how often, not sure what the service schedule states but its fairly long and unless there has been any running issues they'll last a long time.

i was only asking if people stand by stock, or go uprated as many people do.
i DID read the helpful guide on the faq, but just thought i would ask out of general interest as some one stated they didnt change their plugs in the 6 years of ownership.
no need for the arsey ness, just asking a small debatible question.

Well in the 4 years ive been here ive used the NGK plugs supplied by my local motor factors Thumbs up

thanks, thats the answer i was looking for.
i didnt want to waste the £30 something for iridum plugs that last for "6 years" where as i could buy oem for around £10 and achieve the same difference.
