what does it sound like when it gets to 4k? i had a similar problem in my paxo once, turned out a stray tennis ball had rolled under my seat and got wedged under the throttle pedal hope yours turns out to be something daft like that, NOT a f*cked bottom end, because that's just not funny |

Crank sensor is on top of thr gearbox under the thermostat housing I'd say maybe the TPS (throttle posistion sensor) has gone or even something fouling the accelarator cables path causing this |

'the car sometimes feels like its holding back on the power it has and other times it goes like 'Thats what I got when looking at the other threads on throttle position sensor and I'm having the same problem so it defo has to be my TP sensor ________________________________________ Team Astor |

crank sensor, throttle pot sensor, icv, lambda, colapsed/blocked cat.if the engine sounds alright below 4k i'd looks at checking those. ive got spare cat mate if you want one to try. crank sensor is only like £20 from a factors. injectors all firing alright? could be injector gone down or dodgy connections when the throttles fully down the butifly is open fully. got injectors/rail you can use to fault find but you cant keep it. ________________________________________ 230 hp 2.1 16v XU 205 rallye on jenveys Project thread here309 3dr K20 Type R |
