If you were closer I'd stick it on my diag.
That may be your next best option to rule out sensors.

I still reckon it's an exhaust blockage. If you were closer I'd stick it on my diag. That may be your next best option to rule out sensors. ________________________________________ Ex SC-6Now in a Megane R26 |

I'd have to agree with Smegal.. Check your cat 1st. Can't be that hard to jack it up and take off. I had a similar problem to yours.. It felt like was giving up on power 4.5k upwards, turned out my Cat had collapsed. Blocking part of it about 70% I've had to de-cat it for now. M.O.T not due for another 6month. Power feels a alot better |

daytime-6 works in an service+mot centre so as said he's checked the emissions himself. i'd think a blocked cat would come up on the emissions?________________________________________ 230 hp 2.1 16v XU 205 rallye on jenveys Project thread here309 3dr K20 Type R |

if the exhaust is blocked it wouldnt effect emissions to much if anything it would prob bring them down due to less exhaust gases coming out of back. if i where you i'd take the exhaust apart starting at the backbox and try reving it up and work back to engine taking each part off seperatly to see if that cures it. im a mechanic and have had quite a few cars come in with same simptoms and normily its exhaust. |

There was a guy on here (I can't for the life of me remember who) and he ended up taking the head off only to find it was a blocked exhaust. ________________________________________ Ex SC-6Now in a Megane R26 |

Found out what the problem was with my engine not revving out,had a random thought if it would be my air filter as I tried everything else except my catalytic converter, went up the road with my air filter off n had all power back again ,so goin to give it a clean out 2mro at work and see if that worksHappy days :-D ________________________________________ Team Astor |
