As said, if you're getting a regular spark then the crank sensor should be fine. Have you actualy checked you're getting fuel from the actual injectors (not just into the rail)?________________________________________ Seat Leon Cupra FR / 306 GTI6 / Breaking 205 GTI6 / Caterham 7 / Mercedes Sprinter 311CDI LWB Sold: Fisher Fury - Laguna DCI Estate - P1 306 XSI - E30 BMW 325i Baur Convertible - Daihatsu Fourtack - Suzuki GSXR600 - 205 Rallye |

Have you tried pressing the inertia switch in? If you knock it you can trip it and then it cuts the fuel.________________________________________ Oulton Park in a BTCC 306 vid 1Oulton Park in a BTCC 306 vid 2 Lap of the 'ring |

Hi Pete hows it going? Just a thought but did you have inlet manifold off to do starter as these hate drawing unmetered air.Rab E. ________________________________________ Puggy Spanner Monkey. 607 HDi SE 205 1.6 CTI 306 GTI-6 205 1.6 GTI Grass Track Car 405 MI16x4 |

Dave you were 100% correct.Rab thanks again mate, feel a bit daft it was something so simple! Cleaned up the spark plugs and, with a bit of persuasuion and heat the engine started, it now starts first time on the new starter motor ________________________________________ Bye bye Sundance Kid |
