I read somewhere there was a difference between Phase 1 and Phase 2 Xsara racks. Anyone know what the difference is? Use the gti6 PAS ram to limit the lock unless you are going 5 speed________________________________________ Nothing to see here |

I am going to a 5 speed as have access to a Xsara box. I'm sure the P1 Xsara's rack is the quicker of the two. They're just over 2 turns lock to lockThe later Xsara's I have no idea about tbh ________________________________________ My old man wrote me a letter from prison once. It said if you don't want to end up in here, stay away from crime, women and drugs. Trouble is, that don't leave you much else to do, does it? |

IIRC the lower shaft knuckles are slightly different.________________________________________ - Bespoke rollcages/additions/adjustments. Half cages right up to complete custom spaceframes - MSA/FIA spec, CDS, ROPT, T45, etc - PM meEmail me! Custom-made polybushes available - need an odd size or fitment? - anything from batch work to one-off pieces. |

I have fitted a phase one rack to mine, excellent mod, it is 2.4 turns lock to lock but feels more like one full turn either way to get full lock because of the ram I think, top mod though steering feels instant and car is very darty ________________________________________ Team Supercharged Gti-6™ |

I think they are slightly slower as I did a bit of research before buying mine and most threads on sites I went on said the phase 2 rack was slower although I could be wrong________________________________________ Team Supercharged Gti-6™ |
