I want to lower the 6 but at present I haven't the faintest idea of what is the best / most cost effective / who to go to get it done / what to watch out for / how much to lower it by etc etc etc

So any help and guidence would be great.

Cheers,

Joe5y

Thank you for your help - it was more about peoples opinions being that there are so many options out there.

Ive got Bilstein B4's at the front with Eibach 30mm drop springs.

Perfect height i think. And the ride is good quality. Not too harsh but not bouncy either. Follow my threads for pics.

Though the back does need lowering slightly to suit. Thumbs up

i agree totally with honestly3k b4's are a great set up for NORMAL road driving teamed up with either eibachs or pi springs. if you need a hand their is paul_xii lotek and i that could give you a hand Whistle bear tokens maybe 30mm lowest no more!!!! and dont go to pts in wokingham if you want a garage to do it

Hovis - you are a star. I might start picking your brains soon to see what setup is best and costs etc. Beer tokens are a definate if you are able to assist! I rarely go to a garage as I have learn't the hard way in the past. I know that even with limited knowledge but good guidence I can do a better job! Will chat soon about it! Smile

B8's + eibach are a great combo with a 20mm rear drop.

And for track?

Coilovers and solid mounts all the way...

Is there not a halfway option such as Billys or Konis that will do both?
