When I turn in my rallye I sometimes get a creaking sound coming from the suspension and other times when it is bumpy it seems to make a knocking sound as the suspension compresses!

Anyone know what could be causing this?

i had same problem in the front drivers side when i changed the top mounts, droplinks, springs and struts. Think it was slightly loose top mount screws (the 3 you can see from the engine bay) so tightened them and not had it since but only driven it once though it was a spirited run in the b-road twisties! Easy to change if you have half a clue about what you're doing... Smile

Also have this exact problem, yet to have it looked at, keep us posted about what was causing the knock.

Usually a tired/seized topmount bearing, it's usually the spring turning in it's cup, hence the creaky twangy sound, had this on most my pugs living down a farm drive

Mine does the same but also does it from the rear end sometimes? Rear beam seized?
