Are they standard pin? Or multiple, been told the treble pin is better than quad :s, only reason is that it feels astho its running on 3 checked everything an the plugs look a bit spent lol ________________________________________ ex S16 (K.I.A )GTI 6 TEAM more scratches than an emo kid TEAM BLACK but wishing it was bianca white |

The only advantage of running multi eleactrode plugs is they give a more consistant spark over a longer milage. The only performance upgrade you will see is a return to standerd power. |

I'm with Swampy on this one. IMO a standard NGK plug is best. The iridium plugs, are, IMO, a waste of money unless you leave them in there for 6 years________________________________________ My old man wrote me a letter from prison once. Another one for bog standard issue NGK plugs, they're twin electrode and easily under a tenner, never needed to change a set since fitting them.________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

single pin ones are fine. The spark only goes from the closest pin anyway, so having more is pretty pointless until they wear. The iridium ones are pointless unless you are boosted as they handle higher temps. ________________________________________ 309 GTi6-T |

When would there ever be a need to go to a colder spark plug ? ie colder than standard are they any performance advantages going colder than standard heat range ________________________________________ 205 GTI6 235 bhp at 7400 rpm |

Only if you're generating significantly more heat/energy in the combustion chamber - i.e. Highly strung N/A engines and boosted applications, to prevent the spark plug becoming a hot spot.________________________________________ - Bespoke rollcages/additions/adjustments.
