Well a few weeks ago i picked up these off ebay.... They looked okay and for £100 i thought it was worth a gamble to throw some paint on and use as Track wheels.jeffers has attached the following image: ________________________________________ Team Running Engine again!Team Negative Camber! After arriving at work the following day to find the paint had reacted on the newly painted wheel, i spoke to a mate of mine who took them to work, acid dipped them to find under the primer they were in a bad way, after a lot of dressing up and a coat of powder coat in Gunmetal i ended up with this...jeffers has attached the following image: ________________________________________ Team Running Engine again!Team Negative Camber! Tell you what, for what i paid for the powder coating i'll never pick up an aerosol to paint wheels again! £90 all done including refitting the tyres and balancing, that was mates rates like but if anyone in the area needs any doing i should be able to sort something out! ________________________________________ Team Running Engine again!Team Negative Camber! That's a bargain price jeffers, fitting and balancing my tyres alone cost me £40!Thinking of finding someone round here to do my wheels but a lot of places want about £200 just to powdercoat ________________________________________ Bye bye Sundance Kid |
