you wont fail the MOT for simply having a "decat" fitted, however its unlikely you will pass an emissions test without the cat on a standard ECU.

After my recent swapping and changing I feel that the cars actualy more responsive with the devil decat on. Perhaps it's just me though? Got a straight through and a k&n.

My opinion, get one for the sound :-)

il second that Maz, got the devil decat with the full magnex, its wrapped in exhaust wrap so the noise on the motor way isnt bad and doesnt resonate too much, but the maxned, with decat and viper induction does produce a nice sound Big grin and seems a lot more rev happy

Just been reading this and I'm sorry I don't want to get dirty, but if someone has a de-cat pipe around, any chance you'd be able to measure it up for me? I too might know someone who could hypothetically help my emissions
