I dont find it that hard a job, just time consuming.was quite amused that it only tok me 3 hours in total to do the ZX that shares the same heater box but a different dash. ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

I found out my heater matrix is f*cked at the weekend. Haven't driven the car since as I have a another but I've got to drive it tomorrow to work 4miles ish , as my girlfriend is stealing her car back off me. I only noticed the carpet near the clutch pedal was slightly moist not damp! Question is would this be ok to drive ? ________________________________________ Ph2 Black GTI6Ph3 China GTI6 206 xsi manstone daily runner (GAY) Ph1 Cherry Red GTI6 307 HDi 110 |

Mine was like driving a curry house!!! Did the job and was not as bad as I expected. I used money bags for all the nuts and bolts. Wrote where they were from which was a god send. Only awkward bit was clipping the cable ties from behind the dash holding all the wiring to the dash stopping it from being removed one side ________________________________________ V6 Power!Faster I can go the better! I've got to try and get the matrix (well, full dash really) with a cage in, going to be a little more tricky!________________________________________ Rallye Race Car |

I have to run the standard dash, or at least the dash shell. Probably going to cut the dash and put it back together again, if I can do that without making the dash look crap.________________________________________ Rallye Race Car |

Mine went a few months back but its not been a problem as its been warm out.Took the car out the other night and had to don a coat and scarf. But of course it then rained and the car steamed up so i had to drive ace ventura style with my head out the window. ________________________________________ ***Breaking*** Ph3 Silver GTI 6 High Boost |

Hi I'm new here, just bought myself a 6 with busted heater matrix. I've managed to get the new one in now, but found this. I'm a bit dubious about putting everything back together untill I can figure out if it's important or not.... Any help would be appreciated. Sorry the picture won't upload. It's a little plastic bit with 2 spring loaded metal prongs in, looks like a copper end on each. |
