Milk float i think not Shes all good in dry storage for the winter Over winter i have done heater matrix wired in a Revotec Electronic Fan Controller, driver seat was retrimmed, airbag light sorted, mechanical boost gauge installed Also just fitted new pads and discs with my refurbished standard Six callipers and bought graphite grey Cyclones, also refurbished rear pad carriers. Both in Red. Planning ditching the brembos or refurbishing them Then oil change and filter will be ready for summer. ________________________________________ TEAM HIGH BOOST SUPERCHARGED RALLYEMy Rallye project thread |

Please tell you got mintex 1155's or feredo ds2500 pads, maybe want better fluid swell as mine wasn't up to much with standard brakes and spirited low boost driving!! Pics of drivers seat and cost, or did your maw get her sewing machine out lol What gauge you get? I need to get my afr gauge working as it's worst money I've spent so far apart from buying ktec strut brace lol!! ________________________________________ In my garage just now2003 BMW M3 & 2009 L200 Raging Bull & Audi Q5 S Line AX stock rod & Saxo Stock rod Sold the bike an charged rallye an bought a caravan, midlife crisis or what! |

Past few month I have been smelling anti freeze when I first jump into carSo it was time to change dreaded heater matrix Started by removing dash Dash almost out... Out... old matrix out here At this point i replaced the dodgy heater controls with a less abused one. Heater controller is now smoother and doesnt feel like its going to snap the wire ropes everytime i try to close main vent control Also cleaned out inside of heaters, it had a years of dirt, leaves and damp that had gathered. It was pretty disgusting in there. The worlds most expensive O rings? Fitted new matrix Replaced bonnet latch cable and clip ________________________________________ TEAM HIGH BOOST SUPERCHARGED RALLYEMy Rallye project thread |

While car was off the road i thought it would make sense to replace squeeking bearings on my belt pulleys.Didnt replace auto-tensioner pulley bearing as it got replaced a few month ago when it fell to bits and snapped my aux belt These bearings were pressed in using large press from work pretty handy. Replacing rear pads and discs Done the front but too Old seat wear and Seat retrimmed locally, slightly different shade which isnt too noticeable. Boost guage pod purchased from member a on here Which i painted to suit rest of centre console While dash was out i drilled hole for Boost Gauge pipe. De-burred drilled hole (with great difficulty) and inserted rubber grommet, then routed silicon hose through it. Picture of hose connected to Boost Gauge, note the state of the art electrical tape to make Gauge more snug fit. Wired in light for Gauge, light comes on with lights. If anyones interested its the light from 12v plug. Wasnt getting used... possibly something iv broken and not even noticed Every wire, soldered and heat wrapped. Made the light wiring removable though. dash pretty much back together, empty looking boot at this point Vent blocked off, bonded a plastic blank on using mastic and duck tape for good measure Wiring for Gauge held in place Left with this im still not 100% if i like the cheap ebay gauge ________________________________________ TEAM HIGH BOOST SUPERCHARGED RALLYEMy Rallye project thread |

Nice work. How much did the vinyl replacement on the driver's seat cost? I need to do mine or get a better interior(facings are excellent - just the vinyl needs doing). ________________________________________ Cherry Rallye SOLD |

Thank youkeep finding parts of the car to "derust" in an effort to delay the ageing, I end up spending weeks preparing then few days painting. I think I end up a lot older, its a vicious circle the engine bay I done around 2 years ago is starting to get rust colour creeping in at seams, although i did expect it just replaced front brake pipes where they meet the flexi, that was not fun! ________________________________________ TEAM HIGH BOOST SUPERCHARGED RALLYEMy Rallye project thread |

T400PUG is really unreliable for sending stuff out, you will get it but it will take for ever. (speaking from experience) |
