totally the opposite IMO, far more predictable both wet and dry, more grip and didn't overheat on track, similar pricing, no brainer to me.I chose to get some PE2's instead though ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

I cant believe how the same tyre can be so different either the compounds vary or size makes a massive difference. I get chronic understeer in the wet. |

I'm definitely not one to drive fast in the wet so it's not that, i've been taken aback by the performance or rather lack of it when driving carefully. They just let go and you're understeering away. In a straight line, hard braking is quite good just seems to be when turning corners - even gentle ones! In the dry, fantastic! |

Construction in the carcass tends to vary between tyre sizes, usually with a tweak of the compound if needed too. However, some tyres are very sensitive to suspension setup too, Yokohama in particular seems to make tyres that can be night and day even on the same car with different setups. ________________________________________ - Bespoke rollcages/additions/adjustments. Had F1's on my 205, bloody brillinat in the dry but they don't make the 195/50/15 anymore. I think they start at 16" onwards. Got Parada spec 2's on the 6 atm and in the dry there good, the side walls a little soft but there ok and in the wet, well they are just rubbish!. Been looking at the Rainsports which on balance don't cost alot and get good reviews. ________________________________________ 306 GTI-6205 GTI-6 Project 205 1.6 GTI - RIP 205 1.9 TT - RIP E39 535i - Daily driver *Newest edition* E60 M5 5l v10 - The weekend car |

i have RS2's and i was realy shocked by the grip you get in the wet!I'd love to buy some more but the fronts have only done about 4-5k miles and will need replacing within another 1k id say :| the sidewalls are really soft too, my car wobbles sideways a fair bit just due to the sidewall flexing had T1Rs on my old hdi and hated them im tempted to try vredstein sportrac 3's next.... need to do some research though as i need something that will last quite a while, im doing 400+ miles a week... lol |

only go for the Falkens if you live somewhere it never rains...... i live on scotland coming back from dropping the mrs off at work last night and pretty much every corner on cobbled roads (a few in Edinburgh) resulted in a 4 wheels sideways slide ________________________________________ Ex-Black 6 - Speed has never killed anyone, suddenly becoming stationary... Cobbles are farking dodgy no matter what, the surface is shiny and the all the pockets hold the water so your halfway between aquaplaning and sliding all the time.Oh, and the suspension is vibrating like a mains-powered dildo to boot... ________________________________________ - Bespoke rollcages/additions/adjustments. Is £92 quid fair for a PE2 tyre and tracking? It's exactly the same price from 4 garages near me (£67 for tyre, £25 for tracking). Tyres are 195/50 at mo. My F1s (which sadly are no longer produced), were only £48 each with fitting. |
