hi people need some help please i did an ecu reset on my 6 then left it standing for a mth without driving it now my new battery keeps dying |

i gave it a full charge 4 days ago and the battery is 3 mths old |

yes there fine i was wondering if it had anything to do with ecu reset i did cos since i did it its just been sat on drive way and not driven |

ECU reset wouldn't have killed the battery.Just get another battery when you ready to start driving it again and see how you get on. |

could do but i wouldnt of thought a brand new battery would die in 4 days. |

no i thought that on tues so gave it a full charge and it died again today so ive took the battery off.I will take it back and get a new 1 next mth it never gets driven 500 mls a year it wont hurt leaving the battery off for a mth or so will it |

You might have some sort of problem with you electrical system. Mine was the rad fans. They kept coming on randomly after i'd locked it up. Thought it was the battery. So i bought another one, nice powerful diesel battery, and that went dead as well. I think there is a FAQ on detecting a drain on the electrical system. Ampmeter and pulling fuses one by one rings a bell________________________________________ To do list;Timing belt Rad fans Steering rack Clutch Rear right caliper |

hi guys went shop got new battery old one was 3 mths old but was showing less than 1 volt so they replaced it this was sat.Now tuesday eve and its dead no lights left on not even been driving wtf is going on any suggestions. |

check to see if the alternator is charging, also check the discharge on the battery, put a amp meter between the battery neg and batt terminal and see what you get________________________________________ if i dont see you in the mattress il see you in the spring |

lock it manually with the key so it doesn't arm the alarm. |
