just picked up some vectra v6 injectors for her. im running vectra v6 inners and outers now and after purchasing 2x6 sets means ive an unmatched set spare should i need any replacements.there ideal as they have got the correct flow rate, fit the standard gti6 fuel rail and loom, but also dirt cheap at around £20 for a set of 6. ________________________________________ 230 hp 2.1 16v XU 205 rallye on jenveys Project thread here309 3dr K20 Type R |

hi, the head has been worked alittle by sandy but nothing to serious at the minute. running catcams 109's.yeah when i get it back no problem, could take you for a spin. the long term plan is to gradually build a proper head up over the next year or so, with race spec cams, double valve springs, solid lifters etc then just swap the heads over and have it mapped, should see 270bhp ish then just with a head swap. ________________________________________ 230 hp 2.1 16v XU 205 rallye on jenveys Project thread here309 3dr K20 Type R |

ahh fair enough. this might sound like a silly question but do you trust your bonnet pins? i fitted mine last night and the bonnet just seems a little too flexible in the middle. |

i trust the aero catches themselfs but with tb's normally the inner skin needs cutting out to clear the trumpets, this then leads to some flap in the middle. What i plan to do is get some 3mm thick 25mm wide flat metal the width of the bonnet and bond it across the inside at the front which should reduce flap. will stick some pics up when ive done it.________________________________________ 230 hp 2.1 16v XU 205 rallye on jenveys Project thread here309 3dr K20 Type R |

couple of pics from today down at colins farm.sorry its abit dirty though i wanted to run with the standard pedal box rather than the floor mount as it was to close for my long old legs and didnt get on with it very well. this proved a problem as the pedal box wouldnt fit between the engine, cage and bulk head. i removed the m/c then the servo, had to take the engine off its mounts and jack the engine up, once i got the pedal box fitted, refitted the servo and m/c all fitted as you can see where the cage goes it runs right where the resovior pot would live. colin spun these up for me out of alloy. was ace watching them being made. take offs to remote mount the resovior pots which ive now done but didnt take a pic couple more and for ten points who can guess whats in the 309 above my 205. wheels are a big clue! its inline and rwd. ________________________________________ 230 hp 2.1 16v XU 205 rallye on jenveys Project thread here309 3dr K20 Type R |
