passengers side is worse with the door and wing badly dented, drivers side isnt actually too bad...you can see to where the tyres are how long it took to go from about 70/80 - 0! can also see the glass across the track from my headlights ________________________________________ 230 hp 2.1 16v XU 205 rallye on jenveys Project thread here309 3dr K20 Type R |

yeah its mainly bolt on stuff which needs replacing, wings, door possibly, lights, bonnet, bumper, rad, oil cooler which isnt too bad.the only thing is the off side inner wing below the headlight is bent back towards the wheel which should be straighten able and the slam panel doesnt line up with the aero catches but that should be straighten able too. ________________________________________ 230 hp 2.1 16v XU 205 rallye on jenveys Project thread here309 3dr K20 Type R |

seeing as the car won't fix its self....oil cooler radiator bent in and was touching the engine, actually bent the aeroquip fittings into the dry sump pump but looks as if ive got away with just the need to order a couple of fittings there. oil cooler rad is split along the bottom and leaking out both outlet fittings. Dry sump tank has also pushed back into the gearbox which has dented it several times which sucks :-( bumper brackets have taken a bending!! can see some of the dents in tank. passengers door inner wings straightened up, also the bar that runs between which mounts my water rad and oil cooler rad. drivers wing straightened out. damage wasnt huge but it was fairly bent right at the front. Bonnet and slam panel straightened up- aero catches lock down again now too! passenger door straightened out as best possible. There is a small dents on the bonnet, wings, and door which I'll book a dent man for the day to sort out, whilst im at it ill get him to run over the whole car to make it minty mint. Need a pair of headlights, indicators and plastic brackets, oil cooler rad and new water rad, couple of aeroquip fittings and hopefully drop my catch tank off at Spec R to see if they can sort it out abit. Also need a new front bumper if anyones got one? Pretty pleased with the progress :-) ________________________________________ 230 hp 2.1 16v XU 205 rallye on jenveys Project thread here309 3dr K20 Type R |

couple of updates.from French Car Show. had 3 sessions at Combe and the first time out since binning it.... parked on the 306 GTI-6 stand Bought some 6 Pot KADS to go under the c5 steel's need around 3mm extra clearance to get the C5's on so rather than run some 3mm spacers and loose the lip im going to get some wider hubcentrics which for track work are much safer. I could get some alloys that have better clearance but I dont know of any alloys that suit my car. Looks much better with the steel look. I also devloped a bottom end knock at french car show which had be worried, after some looking around and some head scratching I found this. That was a Rich W one that has only covered a couple of K and about 2 years old. I ordered a replacement from Pug1off (I know they dont actually make them) and to be honest it looks a much better finished product than the Rich W one, it also is flat in the centre of the pulley which is nicer to bolt the dry sump pulley onto, rather than a dished area. ________________________________________ 230 hp 2.1 16v XU 205 rallye on jenveys Project thread here309 3dr K20 Type R |
