You are better off staying clear of drilled discs as they are crap and will soon crack. I remember a member on here saying drilled discs on cars such as a Porsche 911 are cast, where as the cheaper discs are not.

What is wrong with brembo vented discs? Do you want these for purely aesthetic purposes?

Even the cast ones'll crack if they get too hot, but drilled ones...No

Dude don't bother with drilled and grooved discs, some standard Discs with either Mintex 1144 pads or Ferodo DS2500 make an awesome set up!Wink

as long as the discs are vented which im presuming all gti6 ones are, then they should be fine.
Stay clear of drilled ones, grooved ones can be ok tbh though and give good stopping power in wet weather conditions.

I'm using the plain Brembo vented discs from GSF with genuine Peugeot pads all round, really can't fault the setup for normal and fast road use. I'll be using them at FCS on track and at the nurburgring this summer, i've never had any problems with them getting too hot tbh.

I'm now using AP racing 600 fluid and braided lines but even with some unknown fluid and the rubber hoses i was impressed with the cars braking ability.

Grooved/drilled won't be any better, most likely worse and as Phillip said, will soon crack if they get too hot. I'm using standard Pug discs and pads. Stopping is great and more than enough? Dunno

I will be investing in some braided hoses soon, but will stick with standard discs and pads. If you plan on going on the track then I would suggest upgrading to Mintex 1144/1155 or Ferodo pads.
