this is the badged bonnet will do debadged next. there are two reasons why you can't use the lifers, one the weight of the bonnet is so much lower it just flies up(could use one), and i don't know here to get the balls needed to conect them to.________________________________________ custom carbonfibre and fibre glass parts. 07513059320 |

No joints in the weave I imagine so you get a uniform finish with no visible 'seam' down the middle where the two separate sheets of carbon fibre are laid up together. How much is it for a whole roll? EDIT, I just answered a question that is no longer there!? He must have deleted his post. ________________________________________ R H Davey Welding Supplies. u can get a phase one rod to hod the bonnet up. they will be direct replacement so u don't have to use bonnet pins. carbon/glass bonnets do flex a little more than the steel ones but working on foan cores to reduce the wieght down to about 3kgs and super stiff but they will be expensive so will prob only be for serious track cars. a whole roll of carbon is nearly 2 grand!________________________________________ custom carbonfibre and fibre glass parts. 07513059320 |

I'll be ditching my hinges and going for pins, whats the estimated cost on the foam core bonnets then? ________________________________________ R H Davey Welding Supplies.
