They're relatively soft so they compress and seal well, they'll even move enough to seal light scratches in the alloy, just make sure the mating surfaces are clean and there's no oil/grease or bits of the old gasket on there. They'll reseal a fair number of times, I think there's one of 'em up to 8-9 reuses now  If you use a standard gasket either side they'll go indefinately really. ________________________________________ - Bespoke rollcages/additions/adjustments.
