Right found the problem, it's rubbing on the outer metal arch, so I suppose I need to get them rolled. Does anybody know any details on this? (rough price or anything?)

It's literally just catching so ET16 would have been perfect.

I would also like to know about this. Metal arch catches my rear tyres too Yes

Its possible to do it yourself, and for it not to look shit. Use a soft faced hammer, or a doubled over bit of cloth taped to the hammer head, a hot air gun to heat the paint on the arch itself, and its perfectly possible to tap the arches up without cracking any paint and stop the arches catching.

Key is to do it in tiny bits, not just bash away like a man possesed. Take your time and dont get the paint too hot that it burns.

The metal on the arches on 306's is quite thin anyway and they dont need tweeking much to to stop the catching.

Been on holiday for a few weeks but thought I should update this before I forget the few things that have been done. This was my lovely hotel in Bulgaria Shock

Small update, I got the arches rolled by a lovely man on this forum who helped me do them and let me use his arch roller. Thanks very much tricky_6y. So now I have the speedlines fitted alround which in my opinion looks awesome Smile I also sprayed the front badge to match the new colour scheme

Also sprayed the surrounds for the side repeaters white

I had eddie make me up some decals of a shopping list for my rear window Cool

And heres a picture from FCS2011

So now I'm slowly collecting parts, I need to get round to fitting them so in the next two weeks I should have my brakes fitted, the lower strut brace, a rear hybrid ARB; and a PTFE gasket.

Smile

I need to find some glue that will hold my carbon filler strips on so any ideas welcome Thumbs up

Yeah I've really grown to like them, bloody hard to keep clean though. Think your right on not suiting a blaze, but a nice dark colour would Yes

Well now the long and awaited forum is back up and is better than ever, why not update my thread.

Few bit been done while it has been down...

First was to move this

Into its proper location

This was a nice easy job and well worth the £60, its just such a shame nobody gets to see it and i have all ready hit it so there is a nice mark out of the paint.

Other things included a nice new rear badge from Cookie on here

And to paint the tow eye to match the rest of the theme of the car, nothing like using the Sunday Sport to mask up with.

I had a close call one Saturday evening due to me being late and couldn't be bothered to fill up. Any idea on what happens before it cuts out? Does it flash or not?

And I finally made the trip to Lynx to get these fitted Big grin

My car has developed a horrible clunk over bumps from the passenger side since having these fitted so I'm going to have to get that sorted soon, cant see what it is by jacking the car up and giving everything a wobble. Also can't see how they could be related to the brakes in anyway, so must of just been a coincidence.

The stopping power on this kit is amazing, and to say there isnt much between the brakes and the wheel is an understatement. Also this kit weighed just over 9kg which included the bells, rotors, apaptors, calipers and pads while the standard setup came in at over 12kg so a nice little saving there.

Yeah def needs a good polish, will probably wait till after Christmas, got another service to do plus sort heater out. And yeah the dents are mounting up and the rear arch needs something done to it Sad think it may need a respray from falling off a jack!

Mcfc's seems a good buy at a very low price can't believe its still for sale.

Wheel bolts look fine? And the distance is fine between the balljoint to disc, the noise is still there, just kind of living with it now. Cheers mabz, the brakes are definately my favourite part of the car; would look brilliant on your coloured car.

While relpying I may as well post up pictures of my finished gauges. Also carried out its yearly service in November.

My box of goodies and the mileage for my records

My gaugepod halfway through filling

And the finished product...

Also my drivers window broke, but thanks to Davidmartin for his link I got hold of a new green clip and all was good. Ebay Clicky

Sorry for the boring dull update LOL
