Right best way to clean discs up, shot blast them or just emry paper them up, there not pitted or that just bit surface rust, just for cleaning up to fit them, ive shot blasted discs before and came up ok and seemed to brake fine, but just looking for opinions as i know there is plenty of them on here!!LOL

Wire brush on a drill or angle grinder man, no need to shot blast.

brake disks? angle grinder? shot blast?

Just put them on and go for a drive, if its just minor surfast rust then it will come off in a few miles, if its any more then you will want new disks surely?

As said, just fit them and they should clean up quickly when driving. If they're past that stage, I would replace them anyway tbh. Yes

I said wire brush on a drill or angle grinder! Not use the angle grinder on the disc! LOL

I never bother, I always wang them on but then I do about 1K a week in the HDi so rust ain't going to hang around long. LOL

Wasn't there a thread where someone cleaned there discs up by bolting them on without pads, raising the front of the car, starting car and putting in gear so that discs were spinning, then Crazy holding emery paper or summit against the discs to clean them up Blink ?

Definately remember something on here like that, but for fooks sake dont anyone try it, (new discs are cheaper/easier to get hold of than new fingers or new hands LOL
