Owain always talks about the perfect disc / pad combi for the brembo's that dont squeel - ask him? I dont know how true it is? Well the brembos are all fitted now, running Ferodo DS2500, 40 grooved discs which I get machined up for me. and touch wood, not any squeal yet.Before on standard calipers ![]() Bigger discs ![]() Chamfered edge I cut into the pads ![]() Anyhow, decided to get out in it today and have a proper drive, nice to get back out in it on a decent afternoon. Any squeal with those discs Ben? I've had one or two short squeals from them under light pedal application but that's been it over about 400 miles so far. It's been in traffic, brakes have taken a hammering on the b roads and got hot, and I've only had a few little peeps out of them.
