As most of you know i've recently become the very proud owner of a lovely black rallye. The rallye is very well know around these parts as it has been owned by a few fellow members before making its way into my hands Huw Jones, Gwyn Rallye, JJL1 and now me Smile

Here's a few pics from Gwyn Rallye

As mint as she is i plan to put my own touch on her and they are as follows

  • Change the dash clocks to look phase 3 items
  • Change the console clock back to a rallye version
  • Fit private plate on to car
  • Change current cyclones to a set finished in silver Cool
  • Upgrade front brakes to Ferodo Ds2500's
  • A good detailing to remove some swirl marks and to protect the paint
  • Tidy up some engine bay rust starting to appear Sad
  • [bullet]Throttle bodies if i can find everything i need cheap cheap!

    Update 2
For some reason my rallye came with the GTI-6 console clock which displayed both time and outside temp.As we know a temp sensor is too much weight on a rallye so it must have been changed at some time.

Thanks to CUJ Thumbs up for supplying me with the right clock and here's how she looks with the correct part

    Update 3

Just something small and simple this time.Rallye's don't come with dimmer switches as standard and i'm not fussed on the bright dash clocks so as i had a spare switch i'd thought i might as well fit it

    Before

    After

Also to an arty farty shot of the rallye in the snow

More updates planned for new year when funds/bits turn up Smile
