Update 4

Well today its time for an update!

As the cars ticked over 115k it was time for an oil change and a new filter.
Change wasnt due for another 800 miles (116k) but as i had the bits,a day off and the offer of using a mates ramp i thought why the hell not!!!! LOL Im keeping with Gwyn's maticulous use of a new Pug filter and Mobil Super 1 10w40 to keep her running smooth Happy

Arrived at my mates place and got to work and was all done in 20 mins (no pics as i think every one now what an oil change looks like).

While it was on the ramp we give it a good looking over before its MOT next month.

She's all good due to Gwyns love and deep wallet and Carls work except for one thing.............................................................................................

The Rallye has got a 1" square patch/hole of rust on one of the chassis legs that run along the floor! Shock Cry

That is being sorted next weekend along with a worn Gearbox mount as there seems to be a bit too much movement from the engine under accelaration, coming off the gas. Also treating her to this

It's one of Miles' uprated engine mounts.took it off the Vile that i broke a few weeks ago and is in great nick so hopefully this will also help reduce the engine movement Smile

Also she's got a phase 3 parcel shelf fitted and a phase 3 handbrake but ive forgotten to take pics of this Doh

Update 5

Well i've been buying shiny shiny things for the Rallye, said i was going to keep it standard and to a degree i am! LOL

There seems to be alot of play in the engine mounts so ive got the Miles/Pugracing upper engine mount and i bought a new gen gearbox mount from Pug.

popped down to the local stealers on a Sat morning and to my suprise they have one in stock! Shock

Also while looking at the mounts,it seems the gear linkages are past there best so i've bought some of Miles/Pugracing ones as they are cheaper than Pug and are better built.

the ones you sold me not good enough then Unsure

Looking good Ash, I'll have to come down for a look at the Rallye/New house soon. Thumbs up

Did you manage to measure the Sebring exhaust in the end?

Update 9

Well been a full 2 months without an update so time for one LOL

Not alots happened really, just driven her a little and no mods until Friday just gone.

As previously mentioned i was not liking the Sebring system fitted to the wallye and as on the look out for a standard system.

Managed to get everything i needed and find a buyer for the Sebring whom i met at Combe yesterday so Friday i had to change the exhausts over and wash the car.

Heres a few pics

My mate "Big Will" helping me change the exhausts over

A before of the Sebring Tooter

And an after of the standard system on there

Haven't cleaned the car since the last update in Feb so her she is after a few hours loving with the polish and wax Cool

And tbh the exhaust change and clean have made me fall back in Love with her so im keeping here until next year.future plans include getting rid of the "shadow chrome" Cyclones for some standard shiny silver ones Thumbs up and a respray on the bonnet/wings to get rid of the stonechips

Ash Smile
