similar to the BMW brand, the cocks/chavs have moved on, the VTS is Cool again Razz

BUT, 17"'s on a 306 have never been cool unless its draped with a Dimma/Maxi body Thumbs up

17's will be fine mate, plus contratry to the welsh boys observations they look good if they are the right style Yes

I used to have some 17" OZ Superleggera's on my Rallye back in the day (205/40 tyres, lowered 40mm), they caught the arch ever so slightly on the rear but i just used a file to take of some of the inside lip for clearance. They also caught the arch liner on the drivers side rear when loaded up, solved it by chopping out the offending bit with a stanley knife. So in short they will be fine with a few little tweaks Yes

Ditto.....amazingly some cars will rub and some wont- just varies car to car. Very few do it without people in the back though.

Mine runs 17s and a 30mm drop, never rubs and has people in and out it on test drives and its fine, 17s are cool-

A lot more dirty Sad Have spent too much time and effort on go faster parts, need to focus on the exterior next yer Yes

I have some white 16's on at the mo but all other aspects are the same as in the pics, the black masks were one of my forst mods and they really do make the car, plus they improve the lighting which is handy Big grin

That wheel weights site suggests 6.9 for 17x7. Not much then Smile

The Enkeis are probably a lot lighter though?

Most likely being a magnesium based alloy, will weigh them one day Yes

The Enkeis are increadibly strong though so the design is probably more geared to strength than weight, they eat pot holes for breakfast Laugh

They were designed so that rally cars could get round a stage on them if they lost a tyre, its not like i use them in this way but with the roads around my way it sometimes feels like a rally stage LOL

I do find my self trying to avoid potholes, but I guess they must have been fairly strong to clout kerbs etc etc. Also the tyres are quite big so that helps.

As long as the offset is correct mate you will be fine. 40mm with et15 is no good she will rub. et 18 would be best. That is what i am running on 17" and i have no problems at all. Smile hahaha
