Aren't they big in the states? Or is that a different magnaflow?  I'm sure they often use them on Overhaulin or something like that. ________________________________________  You feed beefburgers to swans. Yeah, theyre American. I have a Magnaflow cat back on my DC2. I personally like the noise, loud like a magnex and burbley like a Scorpion. Although obviously thats on a different car so not necessarily a great comparison. Why would you want a magnaflow though? They dont seem popular on euro cars and there are many other tried and tested makes available at the price you quoted. ________________________________________ Trackday, trackday, trackday |

hey guys, just thought i'd add this to help anyone thinking of using magnaflow( profusion customs).....don't. the moonstone is mine and i had a full system including cat done from him within a couple months it was blowing, centrebox internals and backbox internals completely knackered. went back over so many times due to poor workmanship and in mine and my cousin's experience( the sorrento 205), who still has his whilst its blowing and waiting nearly over a year thinking the guy will replace it.the sytem was not stainless steel. they were rusting and after he stopped returning my calls i went to longlife in hayes(styledynamix) and they checked the entire system and it was not stainless steel and the only part that was, was the tip. so i ended up putting a straight through longlife no problems till now have had it for nearly a year now. trust me avoid them if you can go for scorpion, magnex and longlife they say they are magnaflow but i doubt they are the ones from the states, more like imitations like those on ebay from my experience.hope this helps. ________________________________________ GTI6 - 207.6bhp, 183.4lb/ft and the only one in kenya. |
