I always ran my 6 on castrol 10/40 semi synthetic and had no troubles with that. Not too expensive and the 4 year i had the car it never missed a beat on that front. Dont waste your money chucking an expensive fully synthetic in. I once used millers 5/40 which is ________________________________________ See the sheer power and might of the lesser known burrowing owl. |

most who use the expensive fully synthetic change it every 6k which sort of defeats the point of it. As said unless you're tracking it a decent 10w40 semi synthetic will be fine |

i chucked my reg in on the uk parts alliance database and it calls the gti-6 engine a 15w-40isnt 15w really thick?? should i go for that or just a normal 10w40 ________________________________________ H-t-i-d ... weapon of mass cunsumption |

Just looking for the same answers, I've just bought 5 litres of fully synthetic from the main dealers today with oil filter, sump washer and some touch up paint - ________________________________________ Previous Peugeot - 2000(w)GTI-6, Me old China, Supercharged with working aircon! |

i've always used magnatec before, but since getting the VTS i use mobil 1 super S. tried magnatec in it once and it felt like treacle. |
