i just got set jenvey throttle bodies put on rallye and have no filter want just 1 long pipercross filter what one do i need and wel it fit coz not much room round left side of bodies what you lot think??________________________________________ 234 BHP TB RALLYE¼ mile 13.9 MY PROJECT THREAD |

Go o n the Jenvey web site mate - you can get the filter you need there - All depends how long the trumpets are  |

do a google search for the pipercross shop, you choose your backplate then the filter depth, works around |

I got my filter and backing plate from Jenvey, speak to them and they will make sure you get the right one  Mine came without the holes cut for the trumpets though, this is something you have to do yourself, but I have an image of where to cut, and dimensions etc if you need. There is also f*ck all room to have a filter on the 6 engine. The best practice is to have the PAS relocated to where the air con compressor is. Your power steering pump is just to the left of the end of your inlet manifold, once you get your bodies on you will notice that it will be in the way when you come to fit a filter backplate. You will need to re-locate the power steering pump down to the brackets on the sump (that are there for the unused air-con compressor) using the extended pipes and special bracket that Rich Walker supplies. Then you will have all the room you need for fitting your dome filter/backplate assembly.  ________________________________________ R H Davey Welding Supplies. I have the pipercross filter and have moved the PAS pump down to the sump. It's worth doing as it gives you so much more room. Pretty sure the filter doesn't fit without moving it.________________________________________ 200+ secret squirrels hiding under the bonnet with 4 wide mouth frogs... |

Sock-type filters can loose you that easily.________________________________________ - Bespoke rollcages/additions/adjustments. Half cages right up to complete custom spaceframes - MSA/FIA spec, CDS, ROPT, T45, etc - PM meEmail me!
