Go o n the Jenvey web site mate - you can get the filter you need there - All depends how long the trumpets are Wink

I got my filter and backing plate from Jenvey, speak to them and they will make sure you get the right one Yes

Mine came without the holes cut for the trumpets though, this is something you have to do yourself, but I have an image of where to cut, and dimensions etc if you need.

There is also f*ck all room to have a filter on the 6 engine.

The best practice is to have the PAS relocated to where the air con compressor is. (Obviously you will loose the air con) This gives a lot more room for a decent air box set up.

You can locate it down by the sump where the air con would have been Yes

Speak to Rich_W as he sells a kit that will allow you to relocate it Yes

Your power steering pump is just to the left of the end of your inlet manifold, once you get your bodies on you will notice that it will be in the way when you come to fit a filter backplate.
You will need to re-locate the power steering pump down to the brackets on the sump (that are there for the unused air-con compressor) using the extended pipes and special bracket that Rich Walker supplies.
Then you will have all the room you need for fitting your dome filter/backplate assembly. Smile

Unsure

Doubtful, its only a bit of foam, it's not going to reduce flow and reduce it by 10 bhp No

Even if it did, I would rather have a filter and know that nothing is going to get sucked into my engine.

I have the pipercross filter and have moved the PAS pump down to the sump. It's worth doing as it gives you so much more room. Pretty sure the filter doesn't fit without moving it.

It can just be fitted, but you need to ofset it really far over to the right, which looks terrible.

Pug1off said that? I do hope they didn't also advise you to drive round on the road with no filter LOL

using the shit indivitual pipercross air filters can curb the power by a few bhp. but a decent sausage style itg filter certainly wont.

Ahh really?

I considered sock-type filters as they are so much cheaper, and means you don't have to remove the PAS etc.

When I ordered my Jenvey kit, I asked about socks, and they persuaded me to buy their filter (at the time just thought it was salesman shit to make you spend more LOL)

Glad I went for that filter now Cool
