you only get what you pay for - Avo, Spax, Gaz, Leda are all budget shocks. If you want the best i would highly recommend Intrax suspension as I have used their shocks for years. They are used by Porsche, Askari, Bmw, Radical just to name a few, i'm having a complete set of Intrax shocks made for my 306 at the moment so when they're done i will post some pictures and prices, you would be amazed with the difference shocks can make as they say "suspension is everything" Big grin

Or send your stock dampers to Ktech for revalving, they wanted about 200 per corner when I inquired a few years back, that included new pistons and converting them to adjustables with parabolic needles.

Means you get adjusters that actually adjust noticably each click, unlike something such as the Bilstien PSS9/10 kits, where the adjuster does fook all for the first 11 clicks, then adds a shitload of damping on the last one.

They'll revalve/rebuild/upgrade virtually anything for the right price.

Don't Ktech do bike suspension too? I'm sure people have recommended them for rebuilding rear bike shocks? Might be thinking of somebody else though...

Yes, specialise in bike stuff.
Proce has probably gone up a bit by now though, must be 4 years ago when I was chatting to them about it.

Speak to Dave at Dampertech for a good deal on the Gaz Gold kit, nicely made, reasonable price (compared to KW) and excellent backup from UK importers. Cool

Yes, apparently the 300lbs springs they reccommend with the kit are to soft (even for a substantially lightened car) and the knock I was hearing was the spring going coilbound, that explains the horrendous thump coming through the cabin over bumps. They have me on some 360lbs ones now and that seemms to have done the trick...Roll eyes
