Usually just packaging, there's benefits and drawbacks to where-ever you put 'em, at the back get's better airflow to the pads, but is more prone to getting stones/grit stuck in the pads, at the bottom drops the centre of gravity of the car, but can suffer from pad knock-off from flex in the hub assembly, at the front keeps the pad knockoff to a minimum, and protects from dirt, but doesn't have as much airflow...

I was looking at German cars wondering why the calipers sit in different places on the discs. I think it is because of which wheels are the driven wheels?

So the piston sizes are 38.1mm and 41.3mm right? Unsure

If so thats the same size as the CP5200 calipers i use on my Rallye and they provide awesome braking power and excellent pedal travel Devil

The calipers themselves are too big for a 15 inch version, i am looking for a solution but trying to keep the cost down to make an affordable kit.
