Carbon fibre with a 3M sticky backing. Works really well, stops the cage getting scratched everytime you get in and out.

So you just cut it to shape yourself then? Might give this a try as I've just finished painting my cage and I don't much fancy having to keep touching up scratches and chips. Where did you get it from?

Yeah basically. Got it from Xsport when I still worked there, they list it on eBay here:

It's a fluorescent yellow laquer, photos don't do it justice, painted over the white. House of Kolor make it. Only problem is that it fades over time, but as the car is kept in the garge it's no problem. Used it on my last race car a few times:

Haven't updated this for ages now, but by the end of next week it will be near ready for it first trackday! Booked on for Brands on 25th October so has to be ready for then. Only parts I'm waiting on is the rear beam, which Miles @ Pugracing will be sorting once his press is back in action.

Off work all next week, so will be off to RAW Motorsport and fitting new spark plugs, handbrake cables, remove ABS and fit complete braided brake lines, underseal the floorr, passenger seat and WRC harness, silvertape interior holes, fit new seam welded and powdercoated subframe, 25mm front ARB (need to make drop links to suit) front and rear pads, wiper blades, sunstrip and last but not least oil cooler protection plate. Might fit the carbon door cards, then cut the door internals out and make lexan windows, but I doubt I'll have time! Will get some pics up over the week...

So very true!

Engine wise it's standard bar the bodies, one day I'll get round to fitting new pistons and some cams, but nothing too mad as it needs to be reliable.

Still coming along slowly, got the rear beam back from Miles last night, just need to order some new ARB end plates from Peugeot, then I can fit the ARB, get the beam on the car and then fit the hubs, stud and nuts etc. Also made a new throttle stop as I've lost the plastic original, and some drop links to suit the new front ARB and the 205 front legs. Almost ready for Brands!

She wasn't too happy as I'd only just got rid of a load of BMW bits lol!

Thanks Kev.

More progress this weekend, finished off all the wiring required bar transponder and rain light, fitted the throttle stop and ARB drop links, silver taped all the holes in the floor and fitted the passenger seat and harness. Just the beam and a few odds and sods required for it's first outing, might get door cards etc sorted if I get time before then.

Looking very smart, nice attention to detail.

What fuses are left in the centre consol ? Assuming they are exterior lighting ones ?

Also, what are the switches for ?

Cheers
