i replaced all the injector seals. the old ones were good, but there's no point coming this far and leaving them out. ________________________________________ Deepak Gohil |

Excellent work going on here . Its nice to see the differences between the 6 angine and the rallye - suprised how much gubbins were removed on the rallye models. Looks like you were fortunate with the oil cooler as well |

Wow you have a garage in London bit of a rariety Good thread though, it's good to see someone strip down and engine and rebuild it. I had a S16 engine I stripped with the intention of rebuilding, but so many things were f*cked. Like massive corrosion in one of the bores ________________________________________ 205 GTI6- Rebuilt engine, lightened flywheel, lightened pulley, 307 hdi brakes, Koni struts on gravel spec springs, 22mm TB's, 24mm ARB, Roll cage, Citreon ZX rear dampers, SL434's, Xsara box, Quickrack, Pipercross enclosed induction kit.Private work, not a prob |

i reaplced the bottom ball joints and drop links in the whole scheme of things, as i broke the old ones... i've been reliably informed that lemforder are a very good brand, i got them from GSFi'm using titan oil initiallly as i get it on the cheap. just gonna break the eninge in with it - then i'm switching to mobil 10w40. ________________________________________ Deepak Gohil |
