Nah man, i took the ph1 pump out the other day to swop for the ph2 one (diff wirring conections) and found that the ph1 tank had some extra gubbins inside which ment i couldnt fit the ph2 pump in, so i stuck the ph2 pump back in the ph2 tank and swopped it over, remember, i now have a complete ph2 wirring loom in the car

Could you at least try to post in the right section, and try using the search before starting new threads. All the information you want already exists and it'll elicit a much more positive response from the rest of the members on here if you put a little more effort into researching yourself before asking daft questions.

What wheels are you putting on this? They will make or break this car in my opinion.

Love the colour, looks properly nice.

The car wont start anymore, been trying to figure it out for the past few days, im going to miss a car show at the weekend and it looks like im going to miss FCS if i dont get it sorted pretty soon, the leccy windows dont even work now Sad

It cranks over, it has fuel, it primes, although for longer than usual, it sparks, battery is fully charged, ecu is unlockd, so no immobilsier problem ther, replaced crank sensor, cleaned the earths up, added a temporary one from engine to strut top, still wont start. Sad

Rich is guna text the ecu when i send it down to him and also add some of the latest SC software Smile

have you unplugged any relays or anything? i had loads of problems in one day. i nearly smashed my car up the other week and it turned out i had unplugged one of the engine relays which has a bridging thing in it that stops the engine running

If it's got fuel, spark and air, surely it's got to be an issue with the timing (and sensors used to regulate this)

I changed the cam pos sensor whilst i had the fuel rail off checking if the injectors where working properly, they all seem fine.

I thought i would check for spark again whilst i was f*cking around, i noticed that the plug wasnt pulsing as it should, seemed very random, so i changed the plugs for the ones in the s16 engine, hey presto, first crank and it fired into life Smile the maniflow exhaust i bought seems a bit empty though, so shall pop down to my local custom exhaust place and ask him to repack the box's and sort what evers loose inside it.

I put the battery in the boot today, also finished putting the drivers seat in.

Tommorows job is to figure out if i can actually mount my intercooler begind my bumper, tidy the wirring up somemore, fit the wiper motor and scuttle panal, maybe fit the pass seat, then i can sort an mot out, then a vic test and mot.

I think legally there should be a 60mm or more gap between the bonnet and any part of the engine, not sure if thats just for production cars or all cars, oh well. I cant wait to see the car up and running now birk Thumbs up

I dont know if that 60mm gap is for newer production cars which has been put in newer legislation than when the cars were originally made.
I think its to protect pedestrians heads from been splatted open in the event of an accident Dunno
