Dont want to spend hours on these and then use normal primer and watch them crack up a few weeks down the line ![]() ________________________________________ My Pugrun 2007/2009 video clipsTake a look Pugrun 2007...Lose yourself ![]() Xbox Live ID: Marksixysix (Forza 3, Forza 4 PES 2010, COD 6/MW2, WRC 2010). Well, the spoiler is more or less finished now.Sanded back the final lacquer coat with 1200 wet n dry paper, then sanded out as much of the small scratches as I could with Micro mesh, starting with 2400 mesh through to 12,000 to finish. ![]() This Micro mesh really smooths the finish and makes it silky smooth. It says that the final 12,000 gives a gloss finish which it does, but I found I still had to give it a going over with some deswirler and some polish afterwards, but not as much as I had to with the rub strips. ![]() Now all I have to do is get the Ecosse spoiler off of the tailgate which is bonded on with tigerseal ![]() I bought a cheese wire cutter for a few quid so I hope this will do the trick, then it will be more sore fingers for me to get the rest of the sealant off of the tailgate ![]() Pics to follow when it's all fitted ![]() ________________________________________ My Pugrun 2007/2009 video clipsTake a look Pugrun 2007...Lose yourself ![]() Xbox Live ID: Marksixysix (Forza 3, Forza 4 PES 2010, COD 6/MW2, WRC 2010).
