dash looks spot on wish i had got 1 now, but the f*cking cage is never coming out again as its to stiff with the extra bars being welded in!!

i feel really bad asking this , as this is an awesome thread and your obviously know your stuff, but are you able to wrap the standard exhaust manifold?? i was under the influence that as it was not stainless you wernt able to wrap it and it would build up so much heat it would crack? if im wrong then ignore me. good luck with the rest of the build.

I think the standard manifold is stainless. At least that's what I've been led to believe and if you look at it they don't rust, they just discolour like stainless.

I could be wrong though....

Car is going to teh fabricators next Friday to have the boost pipe made 95% in solid and only silicone to take up the play

Wrapping the manifold can carry a risk of head warpage after you shut the engine off, as heat trapped in the manifold soaks back into the head after a hard drive. And cracking is more of an issue on cast manifolds mate.
