little update, as Inot really touched the car since it's last outing in august last year.

notthing wrong with car, just no time with kids, house, and cold weather,

decided to replace a few part like track rod's and rod ends, drop links and new rose joints on front wishbones

put a new expansion bottle on

and paint up the wishbones, anti roll bar and strut brace as they all looking a bit long in the tooth

here is a few pics of how the car is at the moment, will drop the bits off for painting this week, clean up the front struts and fit it all back on and get it back on the road and book up a track day

I've had my EARLS fuel pipes and fittings for about 5years now, and a strong smell of fuel in the car, due to them being rubber lined,

so took my car to Alex @ Torques to get a whole new replacement setup Smile

here is the new black teflon lined pipes Smile

anyone wanting the same type visit https://www.torques.co.uk

the pug had good thrashing at the RS day at combe this weekend,

only has 1 major moment in Session 3 where i hit some coolant laid down by a cossie, and trying to brake from around 120,

did think the car was heading towards the tyre wall, but managed to get it to stop, checked car, all was ok, so went back out Smile

but overall was a great day and the car performed really well, and managed to get my target laptime of 1:19

i did get a few 1:20's but finnaly got a 1:19 Smile

sorry some of the session have a blurry front camera, and the sound isnt perfect

Any reason? Slicks seem a lot cheaper than 888's atm.

Make model and location?

I get r888 around 360 for 4

I have a spare set of wheels so can run slicks if price is right

Never taken the pug to pod, and fancied a run up the strip

So yesterday it had 3 runs up the strip

It survived the day fine Smile

But I was only launching at 3000 revs

Here is the vid from run 3 my quickest time

12.88 @112mph

Here is my timing sheet

Did you compete in god of the pod mate? Have to do a 1/4 mile time, and set a time on the handling circuit. I was going to go along to compete in that, but car still not sorted so wasnt worth going.

Great time though 12.88! Good work, and gives me something to aim for Wink
